Terms of Service
Agent Tick routes bounded Status Updates, Steering, and Sanctions. It is not a remote shell, emergency control system, or substitute for reviewing what your local agent is about to do.

Operator and acceptance
Agent Tick is operated by Self-Deprecated ApS. Hosted users agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy during hosted sign-up before first hosted use. If you use Agent Tick for an organization, you must have authority to manage that organization’s Agent Tick account.
Hosted service
Hosted Agent Tick routes Status Updates, Steering, and Sanctions between local agents or workflows and authenticated humans. Public hosted plans launch with best-effort uptime and no public SLA. Enterprise agreements may include different support, availability, security, or data-residency commitments.
App purchases and subscriptions
Lifetime app unlock is sold through the app stores at launch. It unlocks ongoing first-party Native App use with self-hosted servers after the Trial; it does not include hosted service forever.
Hosted personal service is an optional in-app subscription for Solo Developers who want Agent Tick routing, push notifications, updates, and uptime run by us. Apple or Google manage personal in-app purchase payment, refunds, cancellation, and subscription changes. Hosted organization subscriptions are managed through hosted web billing in the Hosted App.
iOS app EULA
For the iOS Native App, Agent Tick uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). That EULA applies to the licensed iOS app in addition to these Terms for hosted Agent Tick service use, account use, acceptable use, support, and data processing.
Android and web users are not covered by Apple’s EULA. Google Play purchases remain subject to Google Play purchase terms, and Agent Tick hosted service use remains governed by these Terms.
Local action responsibility
Agent Tick records and routes decisions. Approved actions execute in your local agent or workflow environment, not on Agent Tick’s hosted service or in the phone app. You are responsible for agent configuration, reviewing Requests, approvals or denials, local execution, outputs, losses, and incident response. Do not use Agent Tick as an emergency, safety-critical, or production incident command system.
Organizations and Enterprise
Hosted organization subscriptions cover shared routing, team approvals, and billing for groups using Agent Tick together. Self-serve organizations use these public Terms, including the standard data-processing terms below. Custom legal terms, custom DPAs, SLAs, security redlines, and custom data-residency commitments are Enterprise paths.
Self-hosting
Agent Tick is source-available under the Business Source License. Internal commercial self-hosting is allowed. Offering Agent Tick itself as a hosted or managed service to third parties is prohibited during the BSL period.
Self-hosted operators are responsible for their own deployment, data, backups, access controls, retention, deletion, notices, notification providers, and legal compliance. Hosted Agent Tick cannot delete or control data on infrastructure we do not operate.
Acceptable use and abuse protection
Do not use Agent Tick for unlawful activity, abuse, spam, credential theft, malware, harassment, attempts to bypass service limits, attacks on the service, or use that harms users, platforms, or service integrity. We may rate-limit, suspend, revoke, or terminate hosted access to protect users and the service.
Content and data-processing terms
You keep ownership of your Request content. You grant Self-Deprecated ApS a limited permission to host, route, process, display, retain, secure, and support that content only as needed to operate Agent Tick. We do not use Request, Response, or Activity History content to train AI models, build model-improvement datasets, or improve third-party models.
For self-serve hosted organizations, Self-Deprecated ApS processes organization Request content on the organization’s behalf under these standard public terms. Custom DPA terms or redlines are available only through Enterprise agreements.
Support, security, and termination
Paid hosted users can email [email protected]. Sensitive vulnerability, account takeover, or security reports should go to [email protected]. Source-available and self-hosting questions should use GitHub issues or discussions when they do not contain secrets.
You may stop using hosted Agent Tick at any time. Billing cancellation for personal in-app subscriptions remains managed through Apple or Google. Account deletion and hosted data deletion are separate from platform subscription cancellation.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Danish law and disputes are handled by Danish courts, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
